Possible changes to channels like Dave and GOLD on satellite soon...?

Channel Five satellite changes in the next few weeks.
In the next few week, there will be some technical changes happening to Channel Five on satellite.
In the past Channel Five have operated five regional variations of Channel Five, for more specific advertising.
Earlier this year, since 1st August 2015, there has been just one national version of Channel 5, showing the same adverts.
Now in the next couple of weeks, four of the Channel Five regional variations will close, leaving just one feed covering the whole of the UK.

Sky Sports will broadcast live coverage of 3pm Premier League kick-offs on Saturdays from next season exclusively to Irish customers, taking the rights from current broadcaster Setanta Sports
The move is a significant one for Sky as blackout laws in the UK mean that no live football can be shown between 2.45 and 5.15 on Saturday afternoons. However, those laws do not apply to Ireland.

BeIN Sports has retained the live TV rights to the English Premier League across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region until the 2018/19 season.

The BBC Store has opened.
BBC Store allows viewers to instantly own and keep digital copies of BBC programmes such as Doctor Who, Sherlock, Doctor Foster or Poldark alongside archive programmes from the last 60 years.
BBC Store, operated by the BBC's commercial arm BBC Worldwide is the latest way of acquiring BBC content following decades of being able to buy BBC shows in physical formats.
It is only available to users in the UK, Isle of Man or the Channel Islands, although downloaded shows can be taken abroad to watch later.
If outside the UK it should be possible to buy the programmes on BBC Store using a Virtual Private Network or VPN service like "HMA"

BeIN Sports MENA (Middle East and North Africa), is expanding its current service, primarily a sports bouquet, with additional entertainment and movie channels.

On Sunday 1st November, BeIN Sports changed some of their channel frequencies and the satellites they operated on.
With no prior warning.
If your satellite dish is aligned to Nilesat at 7 West, then you will have lost BeIN Sports 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15.
These BeIN Sports channels (BeIN Sports 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15) are now only available on their satellites at 25.5 east, Es'Hailsat.
If your satellite dish is already aligned to Es'Hailsat at 25.5 East (or Badr at 26 east), then you will also need to perform a rescan of channels, as some of the BeIN Sports channels have changed their frequencies also.
