The BBC has today confirmed the full timetable for the transfer of all regions to HD on Sky and Freesat.

The transfer of BBC regions from SD to HD will complete in late February.

Where to watch FA Cup third round ties on TV

The Premier League will take a temporary pause this weekend as all 20 clubs enter the FA Cup at the third round stage.

From the early 2023, the BBC will be closing down its Standard Definition (SD) channels.

And will be launching HD versions of their channels to take over from the closed SD channels. The BBC will be making available the HD versions of BBC One for the English regions, and making the BBC’s TV channels available in HD, including BBC Two Northern Ireland, BBC ALBA, BBC Parliament and the BBC Red Button channel.
