Channel 5 Programme Guide issue

A technical issue has cause Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) information for Channel 5 to disappear.

The technical issue saw missing EPG data for Channel 5 on a number of TV platforms from Sunday 30th April.

Samsung TV users hit by glitch that stops BBC iPlayer working - is your television on the list?

Samsung TVs are facing issues when trying to watch content using the BBC iPlayer app.

Reports say that a bug is causing the BBC iPlayer service to crash when it's launched on certain Samsung TVs.

The problems began on Wednesday, April 19 with the BBC and Samsung confirming they are looking into the problems.

"We're aware of an issue with the iPlayer app on certain Samsung TV's where the app crashes when attempting to watch a programme," the BBC said on its dedicated help page.

"Samsung are currently investigating this and hope to release a fix in a future update. Once we know more, we will update this page."
