ATP and WTA Tennis events to move to Sky Sports - say reports

Live tennis is set to return to Sky Sports in the UK from next year after the company locked in a substantial international broadcast deal, according to reports.

‘Multiple sources’ are confirming that Sky will become the exclusive home of tennis from 2024 after signing a deal to show both ATP and WTA events. This has been rumoured for a few months, but now seems to be a certainty.

This deal also covers broadcast rights for Skys other main territories of Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy.

After a slight delay, the next phase of BBC One regions to migrate from SD to HD has taken place, well for Freesat users at least.

Next phase of BBC HD upgrade delayed?

It appears that there has been a slight delay in the next phase of BBC HD upgrades.

Viewers in London, West and South West England, plus the Channel Islands are next on the list of regions to be upgraded.
