Food Network and CBS Reality change frequencies
Food Network and CBS Reality have become one of the latest free-to-air channels to change frequencies on satellite.
This is part of a recent shuffle around of services on satellite to make best use of capacity.
Users of Sky or Freesat satellite receivers should not have to do anything, as their receivers will automatically update to the new frequencies.
Users of non-Sky or Freesat satellite receivers must now retune in order to keep Food Network, Food Network+1 and CBS Reality.

A list of the channels and frequencies affected by the recent "satellite shuffle" between Eutelsat 28A and Astra.
A list of the channels and frequencies affected by the recent "satellite shuffle" between Eutelsat 28A and Astra.
Below is a list of the channels and frequencies affected by the recent "satellite shuffle" between Eutelsat 28A and Astra.
Note that for some people in some areas of Spain, channels on the Astra 2F UK beam may be unavailable, as your satellite dish may be too small to receive these frequencies.
As a general rule of thumb, if you can receive Channel Five, then you should be able to receive those other channels on Astra 2Fs UK beam.
If you are struggling to receive those channels on the Astra 2F UK beam, then it may be possible to search for the channels on their "Final" frequencies, as some of the channels are actually operating on their final frequencies.
On a Sky box, you simply go to the "Add Channels" menu option, and then add the channels to your Sky boxes "Other Channels" list, accessed via the Services Menu.
Hopefully by the 10th October, all channels will be on their final frequencies, and the Sky Guide and the Freesat Guide channel lists are all correctly "mapped" to the new frequencies.

Loss of ITV1 HD Granada on Freesat HD boxes
ITV1 HD Granada on Freesat HD boxes
Originally posted at www.satandpcguy.com/forum
A change to the frequency for ITV1 HD Granada has meant some Freesat users may not be able to receive ITV1 HD Granada.
The solution to the loss of ITV1 HD Granada on Freesat HD boxes to simply perform a Freesat channel scan. The Freesat channel scan should pick up the new frequency parameters for ITV1 HD Granada.
ITV1 HD Granada new frequency is 10.936 V DVB-S2, SR 23.000, FEC 8/9 This change to the ITV1 HD Granada frequency means that it cannot be added manually to the Sky HD and Sky+HD boxes Other channels list.

Lost reception of ITV1 Mer SE (Meridian South East) from Sky box Other Channels?
Originally posted at : http://www.satandpcguy.com/forum/sho...and-ITV-Player
If you access ITV1 via other channels, and use ITV1 Meridian South East (Mer SE), then you will find that you are getting a "no satellite signal is being received" message.
This is because ITV1 Meridian South East (Mer SE) have changed frequencies.
ITV1 Meridian South East (Mer SE) is no longer on freqency 12402 v 27.5 2/3.
ITV1 Meridian South East (Mer SE) new frequency is 10891 H 22.0 5/6.
ITV1 Meridian South East (Mer SE) new frequency is on the Astra 1N satellite. This has also meant that ITV1 Meridian South East (Mer SE) is now free to air, and no longer requires a Sky card to view.
It is expected that a few other ITV1 regions on frequency 12402 v, that require a Sky card to view, may also move to other frequiencies on Astra 1N in the coming weeks.

ITV1 Central S or ITV1 Central E - no signal messages - new frequency settings for these channels
If you access either of the ITV1 regions Central E or Central S via your Sky boxes other channels, or directly on "generic" recievers, then you may be experienceing the "no signal" messages.
This is beacase these two ITV1 regions changed frequencies this afternoon.
They have moved to frequency 11053 h 22 5/6
So you will have to go to Services, add channels, and scan the frequency and press yellow and select to add them, using the new frequency, to your other channels
This is on a different beam to their previous frequencies, so reception on smaller dishes may not be like they used to be.

Channel 4 HD - change of frequencies for reception on Sky HD and Freesat HD
Channel 4 HD has today changed frequency.
It is no longer available on its old frequency of 12606 V.
Channel 4 HDs new frequency is now 11123 V 22000 2/3
This new frequency for C4HD is on the new Astra 1N satellite.
This new Channel 4 HD frequency has a very good strong signal here in Spain and the Costa Blanca, and should be easily available on an 80cm satellite dish.
Sky HD boxes will automatcially change to the new Channel 4 HD frequency, and users need to do nothing.
Freesat HD boxes should also change to the new C4 HD frequency, but in some cases a Freesat scan may be required.
Any other receivers will need to be manually updated, via the installation menu, for the new C4 HD frequency on Astra 1N

Channels changes on Sky Freesat and Generic receivers in Spain (True Movies)
Some channels available Sky TV and Freesat TV have recently changed frequencies.
This has affected the following channels:
Bliss
Chart Show
Dance Nation
Flava
Kix!
NME
Pop
Pop Girl / +1
Scuzz
The Vault
Tiny Pop / +1
True Ent
True Movies 1
True Movies 2
The new frequency for these channels will be 11307V 27500 2/3
It is thought that one reason for this change is the fact that their old frequency was prone to interference from DECT / wireless phones, BT homehubs, some wireless internet routers and some home equipment. Some of the channel even run adverts saying if you are having interferance and channel drop outs, then move your DECT / wireless phone or internet roouter away from the satellite receiver and cabling.
If you use a Sky box or a freesat box then the changes will be done automatically.
If you are using a non sky or non freesat receiver - a generic receiver - then, should you wish to still receive these channels then you will need to perform a rescan of the new frequency.

Important changes to TDT "Spanish Freeview" frequencies - Teledeporte
These changes affect most Spanish TV reception across Spain and is part of Phase 2 of the digital switch over in Spain.
All channels on frequency / multiplex 66 have been moved and transferred over to new frequencies.
This has affected the following Spanish digital TV channels:
Teledeporte
IntereconomÃa
Veo7 TV
A rescan on your TDT set top box will need to be performed to make sure you can continue to receive these Spanish TV channels.
In some cases a call for a TV engineer / TV installer will be required, as your existing system may not be able to receive Teledeportes new frequency. This is especially true for community TV systems, where individual amplifier modules are installed.
Phase 2 of Spain’s digital switch over is aimed to free up the digital TV frequency spectrum between from 62 to 69. This is so these frequencies can be sold off to other telecoms companies, like mobile phone operators.
It is also worth noting that Teledeporte is now labelled as TDP.
